At S2O Contracting we take pride in delivering quality construction, maintenance, and repair solutions to meet the needs of our clients. We specialize in providing services to the water and wastewater treatment facilities across Oklahoma and Arkansas. 

We know that drinking water and wastewater treatment is vital to communities. We believe that every community deserves safe drinking water along with clean rivers and streams. According to the EPA, 90% of the population receives drinking water from a public water system. The water we receive in our homes is treated, stored, and distributed from these PWA facilities. S2O Contracting works with the Public Water Treatment Facilities to help upgrade, maintain, rehabilitate, and construct new equipment to provide water treatment services to their communities.  We are committed to upgrading the aging infrastructure and increasing water quality in our home states. S2O Contracting calls Southeast Oklahoma home and personally understands the concerns with aging infrastructure. 

Deston Shaw, founder and CEO, has vast experience in construction from working the family business for many years. He began by providing right-of-way maintenance, agricultural services, constructing metal buildings, and many other construction related activities. He enjoys a challenge and solving problems. As his wife jokes, his brain doesn’t work like most people and he can find a solution to the problem. Deston has always been motivated and enjoys tackling new projects. When branching out to expand his family business, his first project was the improvement of a sewer lagoon system to protect a nearby lake. This project was the beginning of S2O Contracting and the niche services in the water and wastewater treatment world. 

Our Team

Deston Shaw and his wife, Jessica, proudly run S2O Contracting as a family-owned business. They built the company on dedication and hands-on leadership. Deston oversees daily operations and project success alongside his brother, Derek, who serves as Vice President of Projects. This team ensures seamless project execution and client satisfaction. Their commitment to excellence drives every aspect of the business from planning to hands-on execution.

S2O Founders, Deston and Jessica Shaw, believe that everyone should have access to safe drinking water at home and abroad. With a missions focused vision, we not only want to improve infrastructure in the communities we live in but hope aim to provide safe drinking water in poverty stricken countries. Deston has seen the need first hand and is actively working on a solution.
